Unbreakable? Well maybe... the transfer case is done, but is it unbreakable? In all honestly I think it will be one of the stronger links in the drive train. The Dana 300 now features Tera Low 4 to 1 gear ratio with a Advanced Adapters 32 spline output shaft. Along with replacing all the seals, gaskets, and bearings I went with a twin shifter from Currie Enterprises and the one ton 1350 yokes were supplied from Jessie over at High Angle Driveline. Notice the notch at the lower left side of the transfer case, if you do the gear conversion you will need to grind a small portion of the case so the larger gear will fit. Also keep in mind if your running a NV4500/Dana 300 combo and you want to use twin shifters you will have to modify the sticks (shifters)! They will not bolt right on due to the size of the NV4500 transmission.

Which object does not belong?

From left to right. 27 spline front output shaft, empty bottle of beer, 27 spline rear output shaft, and Advanced Adapters 32 spline output shaft. If you guessed 27 spline rear output shaft you were right, give yourself a pat on the back.
