Getting back to posting some stuff I did years ago but never got around to putting on this site. The diamond plate armor is from Off Your Rockers. This stuff is heavy duty stuff!

Here we have the CJ minus the flares, getting ready to strip her down to the bone!

Wheel well opened up to accept TJ flares, the extra room will keep the tires from rubbing the body.

Removing the decals and cleaning up any small surface rust spots.

Now clean and painted with rust proof paint.

Below is a shot of the corner panels before install. I had to trim the back corner so the TJ flares would work/fit, applied a rust proof paint, then clear silicone around the edges. Before this pic I held the panel on the Jeep on drilled holes for the mounting hardware.

 Playing around with the high lift jack. With this armor the rockers can now support the weight of the Jeep. The suspension flexes so much that I may have problems changing a tire, the high lift is maxed out and the stock tire is barely off the ground!
